Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the SsmsAgentic extension ("the Software") and of this website. By downloading, installing, or using the Software you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
1. Seller and publisher
The Software is published and sold by Webco SRLS, a company incorporated in Italy ("Webco", "we", "us"). Any notice to Webco under these terms must be sent to support@web-co.io.
2. License
Subject to payment of the applicable fee (if any) and to these terms, Webco grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on the number of workstations stated on your purchase receipt (for the Free trial plan, on one workstation for fifteen days). You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, or reverse-engineer the Software except to the extent that such restrictions are prohibited by mandatory law.
3. Updates and support
A paid license includes twelve months of feature updates from the date of purchase and access to email support at support@web-co.io. Security patches are provided beyond that period at Webco's discretion and at no cost.
4. How the Software operates
The Software runs locally on your Windows machine and issues SQL commands against the database servers you have connected to in SSMS. Every statement requires explicit approval before it is executed. You remain fully responsible for any action you approve and for any data you choose to send to third-party services (including Anthropic's Claude service) through the Software.
5. No warranty
The Software is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. Webco does not warrant that the output of the Software, including any SQL it generates, is correct, safe to run, or suitable for any given environment.
6. Limitation of liability
Webco SRLS, located in Italy and seller of the Software, is never, for any reason, responsible for any damage, loss, cost, or liability caused directly or indirectly by the Software or by its use or inability to be used.
This exclusion applies — without limitation — to: loss of production data, corruption
of databases or schema, loss or alteration of records, unintended UPDATE,
DELETE, DROP, TRUNCATE, or schema-changing
statements, business interruption, lost revenue or profits, regulatory fines, third-party
claims, recovery costs, and any consequential, incidental, indirect, special, punitive,
or exemplary damages, whether Webco was advised of the possibility of such damages or
not. You are solely responsible for maintaining adequate backups, for reviewing every
SQL statement the Software asks you to run before you approve it, and for complying
with your organisation's policies on production-database access.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Webco's total aggregate liability for any and all claims arising out of or relating to the Software and these terms is limited to the amount actually paid by you to Webco for the Software in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 50 if no amount was paid.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory law (such as liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence under Italian law).
7. Your responsibilities
- Keep current and verified backups of every database the Software may touch.
- Review every SQL statement presented by the Software and approve only statements whose effect you fully understand.
- Use separate credentials with appropriate, least-privilege permissions when connecting to production databases.
- Comply with your own Claude subscription terms and with Anthropic's usage policies when sending prompts through the Software.
- Comply with all laws applicable to the data you process with the Software.
8. Third-party services
The Software interoperates with third-party services you control, including the Claude CLI (Anthropic, PBC), SQL Server Management Studio and SQL Server (Microsoft Corporation), and GitHub (where the installer is distributed). Webco is not responsible for those services, their availability, their pricing, or changes they may make.
9. Termination
Webco may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these terms. On termination you must cease all use of the Software and remove it from your workstations. Sections relating to no warranty, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
10. Refunds
Paid licenses come with a 30-day money-back guarantee starting from the date of purchase. After that period, fees are non-refundable except where required by mandatory consumer law.
11. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of Italy, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Software is the competent courts of Italy, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection forum available to you as a consumer.
12. Changes to these terms
Webco may update these terms as the product evolves. The "last updated" date below reflects the most recent change. Your continued use of the Software after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
